Cookie Policy

1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile) when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work more efficiently, to provide information to site owners, and to personalise the user experience.
2. How We Use Cookies
We use a small number of analytics cookies to understand how visitors use our website so that we can improve it. These are non-essential cookies, and we only set them after you have given your consent.
When you first visit our site, we show a cookie banner asking whether you consent to analytics cookies. No analytics cookies are set unless and until you select ‘Accept’. Until you accept (or if you select ‘Reject’), our Google tag runs in a restricted ‘consent mode’ that stores no cookies or identifiers on your device; in this mode, Google may still receive limited, aggregated measurement data that does not identify you. We do not use cookies for advertising or for tracking you across other websites.
3. Cookies We Use
With your consent, we use Google Analytics (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google. Google Analytics sets the following cookies on your device:
| Cookie | Provider | Purpose | Expiry |
|---|---|---|---|
| _ga | Google Analytics | Distinguishes individual visitors by assigning a randomly generated identifier. | 2 years |
| _ga_KCRK8E5DSP | Google Analytics | Persists session state and collects analytics about your visit for this specific property. | 2 years |
The data collected through these cookies is processed by Google on our behalf and may be transferred outside the UK. For more detail on how this information is used, please see our Privacy Policy.
4. Managing Your Consent
You can accept or reject analytics cookies using the banner shown when you first visit the site. You can change your choice at any time by selecting ‘Cookie settings’ in the footer of any page. If you withdraw your consent, we stop collecting analytics data and remove the analytics cookies described above.
You can also manage or delete cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to block or delete cookies, but doing so will not affect your use of this website, as our analytics cookies are not essential to its operation.
5. Local Storage
So that we can remember your cookie choice, we store a single record of your preference (named ndlens-cookie-consent) in your browser’s local storage. This is strictly necessary to honour your consent decision, is not used to track or identify you, and is not shared with anyone. You can clear it at any time through your browser settings.
6. Other Third-Party Services
Aside from Google Analytics, our website uses the following third-party services, neither of which sets cookies on your device:
- EmailJS — used to process contact form submissions. EmailJS does not set cookies in your browser.
- Google Fonts — used to load typefaces. Google Fonts does not set cookies, although your IP address is transmitted to Google when fonts are loaded.
7. Your Rights
Under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) and UK GDPR, we are required to obtain your consent before setting non-essential cookies, such as the analytics cookies described above. You have the right to give or withhold that consent, and to withdraw it at any time without affecting your access to the site.
8. Changes to This Policy
If we change the cookies we use, we will update this policy and, where required by law, obtain your consent before setting any new non-essential cookies. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top.
